Canada Granting 10,700 Visas to Irish People for 2014
As you may know by now, 10,700 Canadian Visas are being granted to Irish people for 2014. The Irish IEC Canadian Visa has been increased and is a two year working holiday Visa.
According to the Canadian Embassy’s website, the 10,700 Canadian Visas for Ireland are divided into three categories. These are broken down into the following categories as follows:
- “Young Professionals” which covers 2,500 of the visas
- “International Co-Op Internship” which covers 500 of the visas
- “Working Holiday” which covers 7,700 of the visas
Irish people will have a choice of different industries to choose from, with the main ones being:
- Construction
- Engineering
- Trades
- Oil & Gas
- Hospitality
- Health
- Transport
There will be a range of Canadian Irish Visas that will cover majority of Canada, such as:
- Toronto
- Montreal
- Vancouver
- Calgary
- Edmonton
- Halifax
- Regina
- Saskatoon
- St John, NB
- St John, NF
- Winnipeg
